Snow in Ontario
November 4, 2006
http://www.canadaeast.com/storyImage...3570_47641.jpg
THE CANADIAN PRESS Seven-year-old Breeze Stevens rolls a big snowball to make a snowman on the main street in Orillia, Ont., yesterday following an overnight snowfall. The snow just kept coming all day yesterday.

I love snow, as long as I don't have to drive in it!

I don't mind snow at all. I think it's quite beautiful.
What I hate is the sub zero weather. Usually, we get about 3 weeks of -30 F, or colder. It usually happens in January or February.
We had an unusually warm winter last year, with only a couple of sub zero days, and not much snow. Old Mother Nature will probably make up for it this year.

Lucky them!
It's in the low 80s here in Phx. and I wish the "real" winter like weather would get here! Arrrrgh!

Well, I woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the ground this morning.
My dog, Ellie, loves it. She takes bites of it, then throws it through the air. What a strange creature she is.
I suspect it will all melt by this evening.

I love snow too! We had our first significant snowfall up here back in mid October - 7 inches.

Here in Uppsala. we got blasted by our first snowstorm last week, though most of it has melted by now. By co-incidence, I was talking to my mom (who lives in Orillia) last night and we were comparing snow stories for the early season. Even half a world away we are getting the same weather. Mother Nature has a long reach!
And like some of you, we also live in the country and always make sure we have a full cupboard and a loaded freezer.

It rained all day yesterday, and isn't supposed to be much better today. Our snow is all gone.
I'd much rather have snow than rain all day.

I've got snow today too, SW Wisconsin. It's pretty, but much too early.
