Snow in Ontario

I love snow, as long as I don't have to drive in it!

I don't mind snow at all. I think it's quite beautiful.
What I hate is the sub zero weather. Usually, we get about 3 weeks of -30 F, or colder. It usually happens in January or February. We had an unusually warm winter last year, with only a couple of sub zero days, and not much snow. Old Mother Nature will probably make up for it this year. |
Lucky them! :)
It's in the low 80s here in Phx. and I wish the "real" winter like weather would get here! Arrrrgh! |
Well, I woke up to a couple of inches of snow on the ground this morning.
My dog, Ellie, loves it. She takes bites of it, then throws it through the air. What a strange creature she is. I suspect it will all melt by this evening. |
I love snow too! We had our first significant snowfall up here back in mid October - 7 inches. :)

Here in Uppsala. we got blasted by our first snowstorm last week, though most of it has melted by now. By co-incidence, I was talking to my mom (who lives in Orillia) last night and we were comparing snow stories for the early season. Even half a world away we are getting the same weather. Mother Nature has a long reach!
And like some of you, we also live in the country and always make sure we have a full cupboard and a loaded freezer. |
I hate snow.

It rained all day yesterday, and isn't supposed to be much better today. Our snow is all gone. :(
I'd much rather have snow than rain all day. [ November 10, 2006, 06:58: Message edited by: Cathy ] |
I've got snow today too, SW Wisconsin. It's pretty, but much too early.

today in toronto it's a bit sunny but temps are fab around 52. yesterday was 60. hopefully this Indian summer will last till massey is over...
it does cool down quite a bit in the evening but as long as it's like this it will be great for everyone to do sightseeing, walking around the city etc... 6 more sleeps till the first concert! lol 7 more sleeps till Lightfoot turns 68... I'll be so glad to get away from the kiddies I watch and talk with grown ups...! |
