I looked at Wayne's website (lightfoot.ca)and saw that Gord is planning a three-concert weekend swing through Minnesota on Sept. 21-23, 2007. (Rochester, Minneapolis, and Duluth.) Mark your calendars now.
Monday, I will be putting my vacation request in at work for a four-day weekend and three straight nights of Gord.
I was at the Sept 15 (Harris, Michigan) and Sept 17, 2006 (Minneapolis) concerts when Gord was affected by his mini-stroke. What a profile in courage and dedication for working through those problems. I hope that Gord will be in fine form and health during the upcoming tour.
You can count on setlists and reviews !!

I'm waiting patiently for them to add a Michigan concert or two. I mapquested Minneapolis and it's over 600 miles...just too darn far.
I have never been to more than one concert in a row. Now that would be heaven!

Yippee, yippee, yippee!!! I can't believe it! I'm only 60 miles from Rochester, MN! Seafarer, if you were here right now I'd give you a big fat smack on the lips!!

Hmmmm, Duluth is about an 8 hour drive for me from Michigan. I may just make that trip, unless he books something closer.

I guess EM Prod means the people that set up the concert dates? Makes sense to me now, sorry.
Can I just add one more...
Yippee!

OK now I need expert advice (from you guys) on how to suggest to my husband that we go to 3 concerts, 3 nights in a row? He's a fan, but not a fanatic like me. Any suggestions?

Gitch,
Good luck with that! If you figure it out, let me know...the husband thing is what I'm talkin' about. I'm thinking I'll give him 3 or 4 drinks first? Mine just wouldn't go for it, otherwise.

Maybe we should hitch up and ditch our husbands. I'm only half jesting.

G.
Minnesota is really just too far or I'd say let's ditch them!!!
I could talk him into one concert, but he would probably think I went over the edge if I wanted to see 3 in a row!

To Bill W and Formerly Violet (?) I checked with Wolf Trap today and Gordon is not including it in his tour this summer. Rats. I feel awful because I won't get to see him at all this year, Keswick is too far away. Now-what I could do is go to a Massey Hall concert. I'll have to check his tour schedule. Anybody else going to Massey Hall?

Elizabeth, that is disappointing. I was hoping that the show would be added eventually. Wolftrap is such a nice venue with a beautiful setting, and the drive wasn't too bad from Delaware.
I hope you are able to attend a Massey Hall concert. At least you'd have a show to look forward to this year. Jbt and I are attending the Keswick show on 4/27, but that's it for us. Maybe something else will be added - one that we can all attend. Good luck!

Lightfoot's next Massey date will probably be in May 2008. He has them 18 months apart..

Thanks Char. It seems that I am not destined to hear and see Gord this year.
