Lucky you - haven't seen anything from them (and can't remember which email I used to compete LOL - I have 4 or 5 active, plus a couple I check for my sister). Sigh. Would be nice.

They decided not to make folks wait for their next newsletter - the winners names are now posted on their site. Interestingly, I don't know any of the other winners, unless someone here is using an alias! I guess I was very lucky indeed.

Folk Alley is only 1 hour from my house. I'm gonna drive down there and get my signed copy of Harmony. I don't care if I won it or not. One of those winners won't be getting their CD.

lol, all i won is an e-mail solicitation to donate $70 or more so I could win an 'unsigned' copy of Harmony

well, FA, if i had bucks to spare i'd be throwing them towards a NEED like assisting with starving/wailing kids instead of supplementing a Westen world WANT like a 24/7 folk music cyber-channels, sawry

but congrats to the winners!
no sour grapes here

Just wanted to share that I am also a winner in the Folk Alley contest--my name is last on the list, so I guess I was really lucky! I love this website and visit often, but this is my first post--hope I got it right! Anyway, congrats to my fellow winners and enjoy your cd's!

Update from the Folk Alley newsletter:

7. Quiz and Survey Winners:

Boy, you guys sure do love Gordon Lightfoot! We had nearly three times the response to our quiz than the first Folk Alley quiz on Bob Dylan. A total of 1310
people took the challenge with 53 entrants coming up with a perfect score of ten. The winners of signed Gordon Lightfoot "Harmony" CDs (drawn at random) are:

*Sherri Hamilton - Rochester, WA
*Kari Kukkonen - Johnstown, CO
*Neal Walters - Greencastle, PA
*Jon Chandler - Salem, OR
*Jerry Houff - East Hampton, CT
*John L. Mercer - Oberlin, OH
*Kevin Hackett - Richmond Hills, ON
*Carole Rennie - Centerburg, OH
*Valerie Magee - Englewood, CO
*Lynn Chilleme - Huntington Beach, CA

We also drew five winners of Folk Alley T-shirts and FANkits from those participating in last month's survey on technology issues. There were 322 listeners who
added their two cents. T-shirts go to (we'll contact you for size and mailing information):

*Nick Cockroft
*Greg Luce
*Peter Clark
*Amy Long
*Ken Krause
