Lightfoot banned in the U.S.A.

all right, all right, you all got me going!
It's a stretch, but 15 could be "On Yonge Street"
EMP is at 1365 Yonge street, if you add all four digits, you get 15!

It's too bad there is no zero. What would go there? "The No Hotel", of course!
(now I KNOW I'm getting loopy)
Using my previous logic, 11 could be carefree Highway, because route 74 in Arizona is...well, you know.
AAIE! I've gotta stop and go to bed!!

quite a flurry of ideas, wow
hey, tt, what's with #17? I'm missing something
btw,
#6 could be for 6 gold albums.
#17 could be for the 17 Juno Awards
that's stretching the concept a bit but no more than the adding of digits in addresses, lol
we've probably come up with enough to pick a handful of lucky GL related suitcases on the show and get a bank offer of > $100K ...i'd say "deal" and go on a CD/DVD shopping spree

I hesitate to bring this back up ( but jj made me feel partially responsible for its existence). I watched the show last night, and envisioned this:
HOWIE : Charlene....pick a case.
CHARLENE : Case number two.
HOWIE : Amber.....open the case....
Now here, instead of the usual highly suspenseful/dramatic music they normally play, one would hear "I'm on my second cup of coffee, still can't face the day"
(Amber emotes)
"I'm thinking of the lady who got lost along the way"
Wouldn't that be great ?

1 Remember Me, I'm the One
2 Second Cup of Coffee
3 Triangle
4 That's what you get FOUR Lovin' Me
5
6 gold albums (5 gold rings + a partridge in a pear tree, no?)
7 Seven Island Suite
8 Affair on Eighth Avenue
9 Runway Number Nine
10 Ten Degrees & Getting Colder
11
12 East of Midnight
13 Black Day in July (that works, d)
14 14 Karat Gold
15 On Yonge Street (but i don't understand this new math, d)
16 Sixteen Miles to Seven Lakes
17 Juno awards
18
19 Cherokee Bend (sure thing, b)
20
21 Go Go Round
22 Too Much Too Lose (superb, jr)
23
24

26 bottles of beer on the wall (oh, i suppose that's dated)
funny stuff, rmd...char, you don't want amber opening up your $1,000,000... you want her opening $.01
i think the current funky theme song playing when those models take the stage has got to be replaced with a Boathouse instrumental track or the likes of
b, i trust you're gonna share you revised, gimicky, auditon tape with us here or on youtube?

From the song,"May I"..."There's 4 and 20 reasons why it can't be wrong." = "24" !!!
Also,(and how could I miss this obvious fact?)
for position five,"If You Could Read My Mind",
reached "#5" on the American pop charts in 1971.
Lastly,where's my suggestion for #26?
"26" thousand tons more,from "Wreck".

hey B, i updated the list from a copy & paste of the most recent version that Doug had done for us, so my update was only as thorough as that
but thanks for the great new additions - brink, good stuff, i think engines and coaches are mutually exclusive so it's thumbs up from the Canuck judge (and even Simon )
Gary, keep churning out the totals on the abacus, lol...Anne Murray hit #11 on the country charts with her cover of Cotton Jenny but maybe we can do better then that for 11 and the other voids
hey, open for suggestions on upgrading any of the existing (aiming to keep this fun and not too anal )
eg) Gord was part of the 'Swinging Eight' on Country Hoedown but let's stick with Affair on 8th Ave)
1 Remember Me, I'm the ONE
2 SECOND Cup of Coffee
3 TRIangle
4 FOUR Lovin' Me, That's what you get)
5 "got a new dress at the FIVE and dime" (Blackberry Wine)
6 SIX Gold albums
7 SEVEN Island Suite
8 Affair on EIGHTH Avenue
9 "runway number NINE" (Early Mornin Rain)
10 TEN Degrees & Getting Colder
11
12 East of MIDNIGHT
13 April THIRTEENTH, 1968 (Gord/Black Day in July ban in USA)
14 FOURTEEN Karat Gold
15 FIFTEEN Juno awards
16 SIXTEEN Miles to Seven Lakes
17 born on November SEVENTEEN, 1938
18
19 "NINETEEN-ten" (Cherokee Bend)
20 TWENTY original albums released (ie. Harmony #20)
21 "only TWENTY-ONE she was" (Go Go Round)
22 TWO Much TWO Lose
23 "TWO engines on TWENTY-ONE coaches long" (The Watchman's Gone)
24 "there's FOUR + TWENTY reasons why it can't be wrong" (May I)
25
26 "TWENTY-SIX thousand tons more" (The Wreck...)
