Of course I don't mind Omer as far as finding it
if you check the address of the picture

that you cribbed from my posting you might just be able to spot the magic 4 letter word "ebay",yes that picture is from a current ebay auction, the seller used a camera photograhph because the camera flash shows. somehere I have saved a more accurate scan or you could google for something like:-
GH IV discography. I found a copy on sale in BC for only $7.09

at:-
http://www.musicstack.com/item/12529...htfoot+country
http://www.georgeiv.net/disc.html

My favorite person who covered Lightfoot is a man that none of you have heard of. Well, I take that back - my very first post to the News Group eons ago was in response to a thread Jenney started and I spoke of this same guy, so some of you may remember hearing about him
He was a friend of my family's when I was about 12 or 13 and toured the country playing in a restaurant chain called Ireland's. He did several Lightfoot tunes and was responsible for introducing me to Lightfoot's music. His name is Rusty Ballinger.

elvis' version of "for lovin' me" first appeared on an album 1973. But you can find it on the "Walk a Mile in my Shoes" boxset. well worth hearing!

I'm not overly fond of "electronic" music and Sundown isn't a song I care for to begin with. So I thought Keupper's voice was ok, but I didn't care for the arrangement at all.
I think Dylan is a brilliant songwriter, but find that vocally, he *can* be hit or miss. This one was good - he didn't mumble, I actually liked it.
Thanks for sharing the links, Joveski.

I enjoyed the Dylan version, it really was one of his better ones - what year was that? I don't think it could be too long ago.
I didn't care for the other one. But thanks Mende for sharing them, sorry I didn't respond before you had to ask.
