we certainly posted tons and tons about the glorious Gord week on Cdn Idol but i see that the CTV site has finally loaded all the video performances of the GL tunes (snoop around the video section if you missed it or are a newcomer and you'll find them) but also i see that they now have a small clip of them practicing CRT backstage...it's the last video clip here:
http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNew...5955_91885977/
sounds more like the fun GL jams that have been happening all over north america for the past 35 years

Its funny everytime I listen to CRT I can hear the Idols doing it. Same with the other songs they did. Doesn't bother me except for Winter's night she did a great job but that belongs to Gord.

Yes, I thought it was great. I wasn't much into the Jacob kid but he sounded good doing it. If it was released I think I'd buy it. Of all the songs they did I didn't like the EMR rendition, I liked her voice when she wasn't making opera sounds but I didn't like the way she did the song. The others were very good.

I don't remember the girl who was against Kalen but I thought they were both great. I am glad I didn't have to make the decision who won.

just clarifying, i meant that the LOUD background chatter sounded like an old party jam session, their performance was way beyond jam quality!
i got a big rush watching it live on tv, and coincidentally (well, i liked to think of it as a magical Gord vibe) a LOUD train even went by here during the closing section of CRT
i have yet to hear the Cassidy version of EMR

I really like Eva's music. She was very good. Too bad she died so young.
