Is this out on CD? If so, is it titled exactly as it was in 1966? Same number of tracks? Thanks.

It's been out on CD for ages. It's probably out of print by now, but I'm not certain of this.

UA - United Artists - put out a three CD set entirely remastered from the original tapes called "The Original Lightfoot". It's the five albums: Lightfoot 1965; The Way I Feel 1967; Did She Mention My Name 1968; Back Here On Earth 1968 and Sunday Concert 1969.

Lightfoot! is still available on CD but it has been repackaged as part of a "twofer" double CD. At cduniverse it is available for $14.99 and has been retitled Early Lightfoot and paired with Sunday Concert.
At amazon a double CD of Lightfoot! and The Way I Feel sells for $18.98. The track listings for both "Early Lightfoot" and "Lightfoot!" are identical but the cover artwork is not. Hope this helps.

Watchman,

Get the Bear Family Two-fer, it's great and the liner notes are superior stuff.

Thanks for all the replies. I have all of the early Lightfoot stuff I just wanted the CD with the same artwork that was on the original LP. Is that still available? The one with him sitting in the chair holding the guitar.

Watchman,

The Bear Family Two-fer with Lightfoot& The Way I Feel has the cover of him sitting in a chair holding a guitar. The same picture listed on this site under Albums, it's got all the tracks.

Thanks! That exactly what I was looking for. I've seen this CD at Amazon, CDNow and CD Universe but they don't show the pics. Heading off to order it now. Thanks again!

Funny I should read this today,Aug. 3rd,Watchman. It was exactly a year ago that I bought Lightfoot! on vinyl for $1 at the Monkey Mambo records store near my home. I had put it and other Gord LP's on hold as well. It's still out there on vinyl, you just have to have incredible patience in hunting through oldies rec. stores. Aside from the LP's I already had (Sundown,COTheS,GGI,S.Dream & End.Wire)This was the 1st on my way to getting the rest. The great thing was and still is,that it's in wonderful shape, but there were no takers for it but myself. I know aside from the UA CD collection,I wouldn't mind having the seperate CD as well. I'm sure if you look hard enough, you'll find it. Good Luck! Later!
