CMAO Awards 2014 Nominees Announced
"The Impact Award" presented to individual who has made a lasting impression and contribution to the Ontario country music scene." This year the award will be presented to the legendary Gordon Lightfoot.
ROOTS ARTIST group or Duo and Group or Duo of The Year - nominee Western swing Authority has the very talented Ed Ringwald (Pee Wee Charles ) from the previous incarnation of the Lightfoot Orchestra too!
They were performing three Lightfoot tunes - Ed told me they were IYCRMM, Alberta Bound and Sundown.. with Alberta Bound being a singalong with everyone...
(Plus they were back up band for the night for the other performers)

much fun playing music with all these great musicians and to Wendell Ferguson, music director....Congrats to all the nominees and winners....what a wonderful surprise for WSA to win Roots Artist Group of the Year....Jason McCoy was the host and was at his best...so funny....and Gordon Lightfoot was sitting front row....got a chance to talk....so great to see him...so many great memories over 16 years with him....kind of weird he was watching me....thanks again to all the fans for your support...luv ya all.....Ed

char, do these artists get played (videos or concerts) on CMT or MM etc?
ie) do you know them from tv watching or radio listening? they look like fun people and i hope there's a bright future ahead… Ed looks like the King of the clan
