Default SUNDOWN re-release

http://www.thestar.com/entertainment..._coldplay.html

and

https://recordstoreday.tuneportals.com/Home

This week brings news of another reissue from the same year: Gordon Lightfoot’s Sundown.
Lightfoot’s biggest album will get a vinyl-only release on Record Store Day (known to the non-music-obsessed as plain old April 19). It will be pressed on 180-gram black vinyl and come with a “never before released inner sleeve”: a photo of the original master tape box with hand-written engineers’ notations, according to Warner Music Canada’s Greg Morris.

from STAR journo when I asked for more info :
That's all there is for now. I got it straight from the label, before they made their official Record Store Day announcement.

It'll be the same type of thing as the "Sit Down Young Stranger" vinyl that came out last year on RSD. No bonus tracks and only on vinyl.

Thanks,

John Sakamoto

How cool is that!
I wonder if it will be widely available in U.S. stores? I'll need to check on that.

if you've got a good turntable and speakers, vinyl will poop all over a cd!. i've got all of gords on vinyl, but not a whiz-bang turntable to really enjoy it as its meant to be

Sounds cool.

If any store here in Phoenix should have it
,it'd be the one called Zia.....& it won't be cheap.

...but,we'll see.

Those 180 gram LP's usually start at $25 and up. On most home stereos you can hardly tell a difference, but if you have high end equipment it can be heard, if they mastered it right.
