Default Song Question

Hi All

My names Dave from the UK.

When I was younger I was introduced to some of Gordons songs by my father, however he passed away recently and I have found so old Tapes that he must have recorded.

I question I had and it may not be related to Gordons songs however someone may beable to help me

I remember the song don quixote however on the same tape there was another song which I can not remember or find any where on the net and I was looking to see if anyone can help?

there is the song called convoy, by CW Mccall but has strong references to rubber duck the only bit i can remember is "rubber duck is coming to town with a thirst thats mighty hard to satisfy get out of his way when he gets to the bar with his patience all wound down gonna be a wild night in town right when rubber duck comes to town"

It is really driving me crazy and wondered if anybody could help

Who Is C.W. McCall?
C.W. McCall is not a real person. “C.W. McCall” isn’t the name of the group that recorded the music. C.W. McCall is the nom de chanteur of Bill Fries, an advertising man who created the character of C.W. McCall.

Canadian Paul Brandt did it a few years ago.
- his take on the McCall classic. - different lyrics..

if you have a message for him, send it to cw@cw-mccall.com and I’ll forward the message. Any reply will come from Bill himself.

I have searched the internet and can not find it. I wonder if it was a hit only in the UK. Sorry.

I hope Boris isn't thinking about that gawd-awful song 'Disco Duck' by California radio personality Rick Dees from around the same time period...

Went to a party the other night
All the ladies were treating me right
Moving my feet to the disco beat
How in the world could I keep my seat

All of a sudden I began to change
I was on the dance floor acting strange
Flapping my arms I began to cluck
Look at me..
I'm the disco duck

...say it ain't so...
