Re: Rockford Illinois pics
I was at the Rockford show Saturday night and I have got to say it was a blast! Gordon sounded great, the show was sold out, and I had great seats. Gordon played a few requests, including The Pony Man, which I really enjoyed. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was there, and as I drove away once the show had ended, I saw his tour bus parked alongside the theater and kicked myself for not waiting with a few other anxious fans to give a handshake and a few kind words to Mr. Lightfoot.
The crowd was going wild that night and I think the band knew they were on the spot, they certainly held their own that night. A+++

Re: Rockford Illinois pics
Glad to hear you had a great time. Gord is worth waiting outside for. A Lightfoot concert does give you something to talk about for a few days....weeks...months...
I'm still talking about the Davenport concert on the 11th and the Davenport Concerts of
1983,1991,1995,2001.

Re: Rockford Illinois pics
Well, all I can say CircleOfSteel, is that I couldn't agree with you more! It was a great show!
I, too, left the parking garage and headed up to Park Ave., and drove past the truck (didn't notice a bus...) was busy looking for the crowd that was sure to be forming, of which I wish I could have been in!!! Oh yeah, and I was driving too... gotta keep an eye on the road you know. I don't think my seats were as good as yours, but 8th row back and just off the left center aisle... not too bad!!! Oh, did I mention we all had a great time!? Great venue, excellent weather... man it just don't get any better than that!!

Re: Rockford Illinois pics
I was in the center row main floor in J, I think. Not bad at all. I failed to mention that I traveled 100 miles to see the show and it was totally worth it.
