Default Grand Funk RR I Can Feel Him In The Morning.

Durring the early 70s there seemed to have been plenty of pop and rock songss dealing with the subject of religeon.

This Grand Funk song was taken off there 1971 Survival LP.

Thanks for the memories - I bought Grand Funk Survival along with Jethro Tull's Aqualung* while visiting Quebec City in 1971. During that same trip I was lucky enough to "pick up" my future wife by a chance meeting at the Chateau Frontenac Hotel.

*Tull's Aqualung also deals with religion in such songs as 'Hymn 43', 'My God' and 'Wind-up'

Whenever I hear survival, I can't help but remember that very special trip.

Great looking young couple. Thanks Yuri, that was very enjoyable.

And that "Chateau Frontenac" is some good looking building.

Thanks Bill, and thanks Jesse Joe for the photographs. The Chateau holds some very special memories for me.
As for that couple. Cathy still looks good but I'm afraid I'm well past my "best by" date.
