Anyone know the whereabouts of the GREAT Red Shea? Saw him a number of years ago playing a lackey's role on the Tommy HUnter Show...Last I heard--he was living in a suburb of Toronto teaching guitar...Does anyone have any updates?

I have also wondered about Red. He seems to wander in and out of GL's albums, sometimes playing guitar, sometimes being what is called 'musical consultant'. My hunch is that his health is not all that good and GL likes to help out this very talented musician financially when he can. Anybody know more?

Here's an item in Vol 10, January 2001, Sounding Board (Martin Guitar's newsletter). Their newsletter archive is on their site, but each issue is a large PDF, so I made an image of the one short item:

when gord did that interview (or whatever) recently, he said Red was there in the audience and then the camera zoomed in to the audience to a blonde girl - i assume it wasn't Red!

JJ, email me ... perhaps yet again. I think an email went awry somewhere.
