Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery
Well it seems to me that the inspiring efforts by our Tom has inspired many others with a deep appreciation of Gord's genius to try to emulate Gahoendoe with varying levels of interest and success. When I mentioned this to Tom at the pre Saturday Massey Hall concert dinner he seemed unconcerned commenting along the lines of my subject for this thread
with a new entrant just spotted there are now the following on youtube:-

that second posting was not a mistake but had to do with how I thought the first was going to look like after posting using a local unsecured fast WiFi connection from my favourite toy my incredibly capable Nokia N900 Internet Tablet. I would by now have deleted the first posting thread completely, but not for the first time when I click on the "edit" button instead of getting a choice of editing or deleting the delete option is missing. I have tried several times using both dial up and wifi but no luck. perhaps the kindly moderator lady will read this and put me out of my misetry The reason that the Detroit newspaper scan picture did not display initially was that all my usual methods for uploading pix to my website are feeling liverish today!! I thought I had had the patience to ensure the picture had got uploaded but obviously I ran short of it on the lethargic dial-up connection!!! |

Understood perfectly, and thanks for the beautiful pic of the Fitz. I had it but lost it, so now it's going back on file and I can use it on my desktop, as wallpaper, that I do change from time to time... :)
