Default Dr. Ralph Stanley

Just found out that we lost a person of notoriety on June 23rd.
Ralph Stanley has left us and I read his book which I still have. It was an interesting read and he sure was a down to earth fellow.
In the movie, "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" he sings "Oh Death" and it's worth a listen.
Rest in peace Ralph and continue sing now with those voices of the ones you've joined.

It's interesting that I just signed on here to make that announcement about Scotty Moore and you beat me to it joveski. But I give you thanks.
Also an interesting point is that Sam Phillips of Sun Records connected Elvis and Scotty in the beginning but fired him when Scotty recorded a solo album.
