Country Music Then and Now.

Since being on these forums for more than 10 years country music has often been discussed.

Haven't listen to too much of it over the years but do sometimes, including older stuff and not only seeing comments under youtube clips of the older stuff saying, "when country was country" and I can believe it seeing videos on CMT.

Now there are some exceptions. Case in point.

I know the lyrics are a bit offbeat but it's certainly sounds more traditional and many agree.

i prefer performance videos, stripped down to let the song speak without the skits, but hey, the masses need their videos
