Hello friends. I haven't posted much lately but had to stop by to share the happy news of the safe arrival of our first grandson. He arrived on 10/16, 5 weeks and 2 days early but was 4 pounds 14 ounces and18.5 inches long. Other than one apnea episode and a little jaundice he's doing well and may be coming home tomorrow. His parents are tired and a bit overwhelmed but coping. Grandparents, of course, are beaming.
Congratulations to all of you! He's a wee one but in a few months he'll be caught up. Beaming is allowed.
Keep us posted how all of you are doing - will the little guy be Pat/Patrick/Paddy/PJ/John ???

He's Patrick for now though once he gets to school I'm sure it will be PJ. He's finally home after a return trip to the hospital when his temp dropped to 93. He has added back a couple of ounces now too. We're Grandma and Grandpa and his other grandparents are Nana and Papa (they are already grandparents 3x over.)
