Default Lighthead COVERGIRL!!!

OK...I found it!!! Several years ago, our Jenney appeared on the cover of this tri-state publication. I still remember when she told me about the cover, and I headed right over to Borders and Books to buy a copy. I had no problem finding it, that's for sure! Borders liked the cover so much that they had it on display all over the place!!

Of course, we all know Jenney's REAL obsession is Gordon Lightfoot. But Gordon Lightfoot doesn't come in "lawn ornaments"...so she went out and bought all those flamingos. Sheesh, the lengths folks will go to get on the cover of a magazine!

oh yes !! - Jenney loves the flamingos..It's quite something to see them all at her place (inside and out) and I added to her collection with a stained glass one I made..

I'm sure the neighbours would find it just weird to see Lightfoot lawn ornaments..

No Ring Neck loons, yuri, but I have seen a Canada goose or two adorn her lawn.

No, no loons, but I did get a Canada Goose once......

I remember when this came out I went to Borders and bought about 6 copies. The guy at the check out said something to the effect of I must really like the magazine, and why was I buying so many. I just held up the cover next to my face. He still didn't get it.
That was my 15 moments of fame!

The day I showed up she had a "Canadian Loon" there too!
It was getting mighty crowded on the lawn!

far out! a gal with not only diverse talents but diverse tastes!!! great shot...artcile online?

wish the Canuck Geese you find on golf courses up here were made of plastic (they might poop less!)

ya know, everytime I think of throwing something old away, I put it back and think that I (or more likely Jenney!) could probably get a few good buck$ for this if the right person came along...well, as the basement piles up, I am still waiting, lol

all the best in '08, JR
