Hey gang:
I'm not sure if this really belongs in this section, but here goes.I was price shopping for c.d.'s by Gordon Lightfoot at Amazon.com
While I was there,I discover the above listed site
I have to admit I'm a little bit leary of buying anything from them.It looks sort of like Ebay.I've
never heard of www.caiman.com Has anyone else?
Has anyone ever ordered from them? Please share your experiances.

P.S.-normally I wouldn't care about buying a used item, but my music is something I WILL NOT compromise on.Its just the way I am.

Do Not buy from this company, I bought a DVD...they sent it to me in German. Regions 2 which will not play on a DVD player from USA.
Since it was opened they will not take any merchandise if it is opened. Is that a rip off or what!! $32. out the window.

Do buy from this company. I have for several years and I have never had a problem with a single order. It is ironic that I ran across this thread this evening when I was looking for the caiman website, in particular because I had liked my past experiences buying music and dvds from this internet independent.
I myself mostly purchased music that originated from Argentina and other latin american countries. I did this because their prices were superb and the product which I received was of premium quality. I don't have a lot of money so this means a lot to me. I also found that delivery times were consistently good, but if one orders several hard to find items it is also to be expected that one rare item might delay the arrival of accompanying product.
Anyway, no big deal, but it isn't fair to slam a great service just because one person either doesn't pay attention to what they are ordering or, who knows what happened? Caiman always allowed me to return items, although I did not find it necessary. They include a return receipt for the purpose. This makes me wonder what really happened here, no offense. In any case, many years of orders under my belt, I am back to buy from them because frankly, by now they are like old friends.
