I'm heading down there today. The two condos at the top of the pic is where I'm going!
40th floor facing the lake...Looks like rain but I'll be there all weekend so if the weather allows I'll watch the airshow tomorrow or Monday....it happens right out over the lake almost in front of the condo...
gonna be great!

Awww, shoot! I like attending airshows as well. Sometime this spring they're supposed to have the annual Sun n' Fun fly-in down in Lakeland, Florida. I've heard it's the 2nd biggest one in the U.S. Don't know if it's true, but I've been down there 3 times in the past, and it is big. Lots and lots of planes on the ground to look at, and lots of planes flying around in the air.

I like watching Jimmy Franklin fly his jet-engine Waco.

I used to love it when the Air Force put on their July 4th airshow at Loring AFB. The Thunderbirds did their stunts right over my house. And they had byplanes doing skywriting, drawing pictures of Mickey Mouse for the kids, and military planes doing refueling expositions. Then people from all over the county would gather at Loring for a cookout and fireworks.

Isn't that simply a nice shot of the CN Tower. Cathy, you must have been in that wonderful free standing structure. Did you go has high as the Space Deck. Looking down, you see the roof of the restaurant. There's this documentary, on the building of it. If you ever get a chance to see it, it is interesting...

I walked past it, but for some reason, didn't go up in it. It seems I was more interested in getting back to the hotel in time for the jam session.
