Two great pics of, The Old Lady On Shutter Street. As I have read somewhere, some do call it.

These 2 picture, will go on my save picture as. That from time to time I change on my desktop.

Yesterday I had The Hall Of fame Pic as a background. Im gone a put one of these for today.

They look fantastic as background, I dont know if you do this or not Charlene?

If I was living in this fair city, I would want to have something to do with that hall.

And I know you mentioned this to Gord before, and it wouldn't be such a bad ideal to have it renamed after the song genius that has played there the most. Im guessing he probably is the one who played it more times, correct me if Im wrong.

The House Of Gord!!! :D

Lets hope they never have to tear it down...

Thanks Charlady for those two great pics...Jesse.

Charlene,

John Prine in the "House of Gord" ?!!. Talk about synergy for this soul. I recommend seeing him highly. His concerts are much like Lightfoot's, with very attentive audiences.

I saw Prine a few years ago - also on the bill was another fave who I've seen many times-Lyle Lovett and one of the few women entertainers I really enjoy-Mary Chapin Carpenter...

John Prine, there's another great songwriter. Always liked,"Please Dont Bury Me." As done by John Allan Cameron...

Just another note about John Prine :

He is a Lightfoot fan. He was the first person to perform (sing) at the Library Of Congress here in the USA, having been invited by the appointed Poet Laureate. When asked who he was listening to, he said something like "Gordon Lightfoot. His songs belong in the dictionary". Something like that. He went on to mention others, but Lightfoot was first.

I feel the need to correct my previous post:

Lightfoot was not the first singer/songwriter mentioned. I watched it again, and Dylan, then Van Morrison were noted before Lightfoot. He was third.

Sorry about that.
