copied from the internet! [HEALTH NEWS — There is sweet news for chocolate lovers. An ingredient in chocolate just may hold the cure for persistent coughs. British researchers say the ingredient, which is found in cocoa, is nearly a third more effective in stopping persistent coughs than codeine, which is the main ingredient in many cough medicines. The discovery could lead to more effective cough treatments. The researchers say the chocolate ingredient also causes no adverse effects such as drowsiness.]

Aweeeeee, I been doing it all wrong. Instead of a bag of cough drops when I had a cold I should have bought a bag of M&M's.

Next time.

Thanks Sheryl. Best news I've had all day.

[HEALTH NEWS — Swedish researchers say women who have been obese throughout their lives face and increased risk of brain damage. In a study of 290-women, the researchers found those who experienced long-term obesity were 11-to-14 percent more likely to suffer from temporal lobe atrophy, or a loss of brain tissue.
They say one possible reason may be that fat can limit oxygen flow to the brain.
The researchers still aren't sure if their findings apply to men or if losing weight could reduce the risk.]

You know, Borderstone, you've reminded me -- I've DEFINITELY been remiss in my parental duties as well... have to run some over to my mom, too. And maybe have some myself...hehehehehe
