I am listening to the music of the insects tonight. It sounds quite beautiful. I hope you are all stopping sometime this summer to listen as well. I think I heard summer evening sounds in the background of Gords' song, I just can't remember which one. Any help?

Right you are Joveski! It's Whispers Of The North with evening sounds.

Gwen, well it wasn't evening and there were no insects but around 12:30pm Tues. aft. I got to sit outside at the patio of the hotel where I work. It's unusually cool for Aug. here in Phx. and it's a rare opportunity to sit outside & have lunch. Theonly other sound there was light jazz playing on the speakers. What a pleasant 30 minutes of tranquility. In AZ,that's a "Summertime Dream".

Thanks Joveski and Borderstone, While Sea of Tranquility is one of my favorites, I think it is Whispers of the North with the evening sounds.

Borderstone your afternoon by the pool sounds pleasant.
Joveski, what season is it in Australia now?

it's spring in australia on september 1st. although this last week in melbourne, we've been having a tase of it already with temperatures "soaring up to 22'C" !!
this morning the overnight temp (its 6:15am now) was 16'C which is over the average maxmium for august. still, in melbourne we'll probably freeze next week!

Insects would be lovely. Birds would be lovely. Even snakes slithering through the brush would be nice. Unfortuantely I have next door neighbors who like to have sex in the late afternoons/evenings with all the doors and windows open. Haven't heard a bird cherp in the late afternoons ever since it turned warm up here.

While I envy them the DAILY sex life, it really makes it hard for me to put my feet up after work on the back deck with a cool drink and relax.

I have the Best of Barry White on order from Amazon. Once it arrives I intend to play selections from it at ear splitting levels for them. Just to provide a little mood music you understand.

well, I figured that was about your season, Joveski...soon the trees will be blooming and summer will be upon you! And while you are getting all into summer, we will be enjoying our winter...

Violet Blue Horse, Whoa. Your response sounds like a good one. I would have probably moved...just my conflict avoidance thing. That is sad on so many different levels. You are creative aren't you?

oh man insects would be nice. Even sexy neighbours would be cool. I heard a bug last night and it shocked me. I haven't heard anything except for sirens and people yelling all summer. Stupid Toronto.
But hey man about the noisey neighbours, you should tell them. Apparently my girlfriend and I are a little noisey too. Her boss left us to babysit a penthouse condo for two weeks and let's just say we've been warned. Not that it'll make a difference, but duely noted.
