Neat title eh??

I'm wanting to know, for the fun of it,what (if you can recall) was the very 1st music video you ever saw? Now,it doesn't really have to be "that" exact but at least as far as you know.

The first one I ever saw was Cheap Trick's,"The Dream Police",in early 1980.
It was (quite unfortunatley) presented on the incredibly bad variety show,"Pink Lady and Jeff"!!!!
Those who may recall,Pink Lady were a female Japanese music duo that spoke little english (and sang just as well). They had one hit here called,"Kiss In The Dark". Jeff was simply a lame comedian.

Anyhow,on one outing they said their special music guest was Cheap Trick and instead of playing "live" the video for Dream Police was played instead!

Having never seen a music video (and that term wasn't even born yet)I couldn't figure out what in the world I was seeing! All I recall of it was some stop action motion of Robin Zander in a police line-up. I'd say what a gyp but then again, who besides maybe other kids, would have been watching anyway?

It's been me,Aurevoir!

Probably one of those songs for little children. I really don't remember.

Robert Palmer - Addicted to Love

At least that is the first one I REMEMBER watching. But then I'm not a fan of videos.

I can't remember, either, but you mentioned Robert Palmer. He was a dear friend of mine that I will always miss!

I'm sorry Sean. He was so original. But then I love a man who knows how to dress Black leather is good, but Armani is even better.

Hmmmmmm, think we could get Lightfoot into a nice Armani suit? Just once is all I ask.

I think it's a great idea! Let's see if we can put Gord in a fashion shoot! It would be a great publicity shoot!

Publicity had NOTHING to do with my request.
