For those who might be interested in seeing some bootleg artwork and song listings
The itinerant British pedlar of bootlegs who calls himself "myskies" and claims to be from the fictitious village of Royston
Vasey England has recently opened auctions for these three CDs
Remember Me
a tuly strange 2-CD melange of old and newer rarities
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1053
Two Tones PLUS

(includes two rare tracks from the 1962 Quality Records single (Lessons in Love, Sweet Polly)
WARNER BROS 7 ARTS DEMOS (1964-1966)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1053
This character regularly offers these three but not for some time and has previously used other aliases in one of which he
seems to admit to looking like a horse

Well well John Fowles I am as surprised as no doubt you are that there has been absolutely no response to your most useful
message.I just thought that I would add a few comments that you seem to have overlooked to your posting regarding the so-called Remember Me 2-CD set.
Perusal of the auction's track listing shows most importantly that it contains the complete AME 1971 album Early Lightfoot
together with all the unreleased songs from both of the most prominent bootleg concert recordings (La Cave-Cleveland1965
and Massey Hall 1974) plus all 6 Lightfoot tracks from the Canadian Talent Library album hence my skies is in effect
offering all four of the early albums with this compilation plus Two Tones and the Warner Demos plus the two concerts and there are also to complete the coverage of rare items many other songs such as the great 1968 TV airing of Face Of A Thousand
People
and the wonderful Harry Tracy closing theme My Love For You
Also interesting is the audio version of Gord's 1.1.99 TV rendition of Auld Lang Syne:-
As a contemporary Preview said:-
Appropriately enough, Prime Minister Jean Chretien gets the last word on 1998 as he counts down from three to one. And the first
voice of 1999? Musical superstar Gordon Lightfoot welcomes the New Year with a rare television appearance to launch the final
year of this century. Only Gordon Lightfoot can make Auld Lang Syne sound like a Gordon Lightfoot song.

It's Canada's national countdown to 1999 on CBC Television.
Tune in at 11:55 p.m. and join Air Farce and friends as they say good-bye to 1998 and hello to 1999.

I also note the erroneously entited song Corner Of The House.Consulting Wayne Francis' web site's list of unreleased songs
http://www.lightfoot.ca/unresong.htm
reveals that those words are in fact part of a song Gord said he wrote to mark his move into his new house. A song called
Nighttime that he sang in concert quite often in 2000-2002 along with The No Hotel and Shellfish, but which
unlike those other two fine songs apparently did not make it onto the upcoming Harmony album

Cheers

Sorry John, I am ashamed, but I did go to the ebay site and look at them. I have a Two Tones CD but it doesn't have Polly and Lessons in Love. But 18.00 is too much to just get two more songs. If not for you though I wouldn't have known there wasn't a Royston Vasey England!
