Hi Kerstin,

Yes indeed those are some of my guitars, I think about 12 on those pix. I had 22 in all, but some I no longer own...

Wow, amazing. I'll mention that next time somebody gives me a hard time about owning too many musical instruments.

lol... Next time somebody gives you a hard time about owning too many instruments, tell them Canadian rocker Randy Bachman owns 500 guitars, and Gordon Lightfoot had 28 in his home, on one of his latest interviews. July 1st CANADA DAY on CBC TV, about his Postal Stamp...

What a guy that Gord is, eh!

Hi Jesse Joe,

Very nice pictures. I really like that you consider all your Lightfoot items treasures.

Thank's Dream Street Rose,

Really nice of you to say that. And {BTW} the poet himself is a real treasure...

Yes Jesse Joe,

Gordon is definately a treasure. One we don't want to bury. The world is a better place because he (and all of you) are in it.

Rose feels luck to have found this group. How can we do a group hug?

Too many instruments??? That's sacrilegious - like saying you can have too much Lightfoot.
For me, the fun lies in building them.

Hi Dream Street Rose,

The world is a better place because of (Dream Street Rose) also. Great Lightfoot devotee, 12 concert the same year, that still is very amazing to me.

A group hug ? Have you figure out how Corfidians could master this...

Maynard Collins / "If You Could Read His Mind"

I do have this fine book, but in my pics, I placed another book in front of the picture, you can only see the title. Now why did I not noticed that, before taking the pic.

Hi Yuri,

that's an amazing webside. Thank's for sharing. Ever tried building Mandolins? My favourite instrument. Do you sell the instruments you make? I have a friend who builds banjos, but he gets so attached to them that he can't sell any of them I think he has about 32 so far.

No Kerstin, I haven't tried mandolins.....yet. I do sell, but to avoid headaches it would be through a local instrument retailer on consignment. If I can get my injury behind me, I might start putting a few on e-bay etc.
I really haven't set up a web page so I just pasted everything on a blog just for something to do. The main page is found here;
http://thunderhouse2-yuri.blogspot.com/
(under each subject there is 'Read More' which brings up photos)
I have experimented with violins which you could check out at the above page or go directly there by clicking here;

I agree with Jesse Joe! Wonderful instruments. Being a bluegrass music person I especially like the fiddle (or violin), of course. It's beautiful.

Hi kerstin,

Do you have any pix of your instruments ? Sure would like to view your Taylor Guitar you once emailed me about...

I hope your not in danger way of those fires in California. CNN is on top of every News update as it happens... I really do enjoy my CNN. Larry King Live & company.

Also hope no one else from this board who lives in California is affected by those fires. That's one state I would love to visit, one day, maybe attend The Tonight show w/ Jay Leno.

I find you people lucky to live in the same State as so many big Hollywood Stars.{ BTW} Where did Sheryl from California go, it's been a while since we heard from her...

Hi Jesse,
I can take some pictures of the Taylor if you like. I only have the Taylor and my J-50 and the mando here in the US everything else is in Germany cluttering my parents house.
The only problem would be uploading the pictures onto here. I am a computer illiterate as you probably know by now.
The fires are not too close to me at the moment. The Malibu one is about 1/2 hour away, already too close for my liking. Thanks for asking.
You can always join Gordquest 2008 and visit California for the Lightfoot shows!
