I had to do this one. It an incredible piece and pre dates "The Wreck" by 7 years.
To any Gordon Lightfoot fans who want to hear a lightfoot album, where the musicians and singer do not fully play it safe, this would be the one. In 1969, "Sunday Concert" was released with no U.S. chart success that I know of. But charts cannot measure true artistic prowess. Gord, Red Shea and brand new Bassist Rick Haynes make upthe cast for, in my opinion, the greatest folk album ever created.
