I always like to mention rare old stuff whenever I hear them. Anyone recall this song?

Singers see and poets wail
All the world knows the score
But no man can find the war"

Tim Buckley...yes, I remember it from somewhere...

I wasn't familiar with Tim Buckley or the song, but it piqued my interest enough to do a bit of research and I like the clips I listened to. I ordered a CD by him and one by his son, Jeff Buckley. It's so ironic that both died far too young and within a couple of years of being the same age at the time of death (Tim: 28, Jeff: 30). I also ordered a book about their lives - it sounded interesting and it seems, though not very intertwined, their lives had a lot of parallels beyond their young deaths.

Thanks for introducing me to something new (to me)!

Yep! Know it well. I've got it on vinyl and CD now. It's amazing what you can find on Amazon if you look.

Amazon.com is my friend - I have packages arriving from them regularly It's a great place to find items that music and book stores just won't ever have in stock again.
