Default Frank Cady (aka Sam Drucker of Grenn Acres/ R.I.P.

Just found the news online @ IMDb but to remind anyone who may not recall him right off,I posted the web address below to another site. (If anyone can make that a clickable link I'd appreciate it. )

Frank lived to the age of 96 and just like Harry Morgan in boht cases, was born in 1915 and lived to the same age. he played Sam Drucker on,not only,Green Acres but Petticoat Junction & The Beverly Hillbillies as well.

If you chack his resume at IMDB,you'll see he did quite a lot more than just play the general store owner.

RIP Mr. Cady .

You mention him having appeared on The Beverly Hillbillies & it put me in mid of the episode where Granny got a letter from him written on butcher paper & smelling of bacon. As Luck would have it, Ellie Maes bear Fairchild ate the thing. There was also the time that Mr. Drucker had to help get Mr. Drysdale out of a bind when he got busted for riding around with a drunken Fairchild while dressed as hippies. Those were some of the really good ones.

R.I.P. Sam Drucker aka Frank Cady

You have a good memory, timetraveler. I wonder what car they were riding around in. Could it have been this one?
