Festival Express

Hope I'm not retracing territory already covered! In 1970, Janis Joplin toured Canada with a group of other performers and called it the Festival Express. THey hired a special train, and toured Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary (and was supposed to play Vancouver).

Does anyone know if Lightfoot was at any of these venues? I thought I'd heard once he had been. I know he was at Rolling Thunder Review with Dylan but only at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto....

No,Gordon is not a part of that band of musicians. I've watched that video 3 times now.

Those acts were more a part of the hippie culture. I don't think Gord would have gone on that trip. ( No pun intended. )
