In Australia, it has been rare since the 1970s-80s to hear Gordon Lightfoot's recordings on the radio or in public places. Before 20Jun2025, I had never heard "Rainy Day People" in either of these situations. But on that date, I was in the tasting room at Scotchmans Hill Winery, Drysdale (60 miles south-west of Melbourne) and it came over the speakers.
