Mysterious road sign?

"My other foot is in the grave."... {John Fowles}

Some things that you see in the run of a day defy description. Somebody stuck a boot on a highway stake on the ramp from Highway 15 to Highway 11 near Shediac yesterday, begging the question, where is the other boot?

How aboot "getting a foot up in the world"
Maybe someone "kicked a habit" just a bit to vigoursly!
"Das Boot" Look for a one legged submariner!!
What a Booty! Tread lightly? Well heeled?
New meaning to "left some rubber on the road"
Don't lean out the window or you might get "foot-in-mouth disease (insert groan here)
Road Rage? Giving someone "the foot" rather than "the finger".

All sung to the tune of 'Careless Highway'.
