Default Re: 2017 tour dates so far

Okay, late getting back here to tell you about the show.

Well, I forgot to keep track of the songs in order, so sorrry about that.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the show and Gord was wonderful as always. Only downside....the venue. We had 'standing room' tickets and the people behind us would not shut up for almost 30 min. ! I don;t really like casinos to begin with.

Gordon sang his best stuff naturally but I didn't like people yakking
during Carefree Highway or (even worse) Edmund Fitzgerald. (and others.)

My lady is 34 (35 in a few months) and liked the show too. Never had
seen Gordon in concert and I only introduced her to his music about 2 years ago.

Since Saturday, "Restless" has been stuck in my head.

The surprising things about the end of the show. Gordon did not say 'godd night' or such after concluding with Song For A Winter's Night ..and after I found the backstage door, I knocked and this lady guard came out 'Yes?'

Me : IS this backstage?
L : Yes, why?
Me : Is he available to autograph my 2 albums?
(There was 'nobody' at this door but me by the way, my mate went to the ladies room).
L : "No, he's not doing that tonight".

After a coule of attempts to sway her decision, I relented.

(Brought Sundown & the german import 'Best Of LIGHTFOOT', from early 80s.

You're always #1 in my book Gordon but next Phoenix trip...PLEASE play a concert hall.

Ah ,well...concert #5 and hopefully not the last one. - Bye all.
