and imbedded the great Musicscene 1969 video previously posted by Omer
here when he opened this thread
(just where did Jesse Joe go??
is he still flying blind??
His last three posts were on December 10th I must email him to see wassup!!
Whatever I never tire of watching that video despite "For Lovin'Me " not being anywhere near my list of favoUrite /GL songs
one comment on the youtube page caught my eye:-
"Just another thought on Red's playing. Look at the smile on his face. You KNOW he was having fun doing this, and that's what made his playing special."
I was amused to see in another alert that google had picked up a mention I had made of both Gordon and corfid on a great site I visit every day without fail:-

a free "giveaway" on Saturday only of a program to make icons from pictures
but actually you have to go to the full "comments" page

To save you the bother I said:-
"It remains to explain why one would want to create icons anyway.
A good example is the main website for my musical hero Gordon Lightfoot, If you visit http://www.corfid.com you will find that the site owner has incorporated a small GL icon that appears in your address bar before the URL on every page.If you have a website especially a commercial one such a minor touch might well make your site stand out from the motley"
As for the program I found another comment had listed a freeware alternative:-

which I found far more satisfactory to use than png2icon
and here are two icons made from Pam's Fort Wayne Indiana "taser" picture

16 pixels square

48 pixels square
I converted both of the original .ico icon files to jpg using Microsoft Paint so that I could display them here
