Hi Char, they are wonderful places to visit, when you come from a country 250 years old, to see places 2500 years old is amazing. The Greek islands are still amazingly beautiful,( saw the sun set in Santarini, then slid down the donkey trail ), but unfortunately Greece is going through hard times, if people are considering a visit, do it now they need our support. There are probably more ruins now they are digging up more all the time, and I think I fell off most. Turkey is great, the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the most exciting places I have been to. You probably wouldn't recognise Turkey it is growing so quickly. Char, now that I have learnt how to survive 20 hours in "cattle" class in the jet, to escape my island home, I still have a visit to the Maritime Provinices high on my " to do " list. So hopefully it will happen.

All the best ( good to see your keeping up the Melbourne Support Joveski )
Keep Smiling
Ron.
