Re: Summertime Dream LP Cover.
Interesting take. I like the photo because it's austere, simple and no nonsense. Just like the album itslef. No strings, I would call the recording very "dry". I think it worked. Not happy with the...

Re: Try Firefox to access Corfid.com
I suspect you are quite right. However, it's the site provider's duty to keep things up to date. That is, unless Corfid is running off his own server and has never kept up with updates/improvements.

Re: Try Firefox to access Corfid.com
This is really weird. Only Firefox works, Edge Chromium and Chrome don't. Corfid needs to contact their web provider. They're not getting what they're paying for.

Tried with the new Chrome Edge and it wouldn't work. Why in God's name would a website be consigned to work with only one browser. What in the world happened?

I have the album on both CD and vinyl and I really prefer the vinyl. I'm sure the vinyl was mastered using the same elements as the CD, but Warner's really did a nice job on the pressing. It's not...

Re: Do you think the song ',For Lovin Me,' is chauvinistic?
I think the song is just a snapshot in time of a guy with a chip on his shoulder. I suspect Meredith got a hold of her father and filled his head with notions.

Just got the CD in today, the vinyl version comes April 3. Small detail, but it's nice to see the old Warner Bros. logo on one of his records once again.

Solo date change
I just got notified by Amazon that the delivery of the Solo album has been delayed to April 3. I don't know if it's for the LP or the CD or both, since I ordered both.

Yeah, the Amazon listing says Gord discovered a cd of these songs from 2001 and 2002. It appears they're not newly recorded.
