Twitter

Who do you think is providing the Twitter feed at @Lightfoot365? It certainly isn't Gord.

Ha, I guess it was one of the Roots guys who tweeted that comment. I see it!

Shouldn't the past tense of tweet be twat?

maybe Gord dictates responses to Mer (or Wayne or Ann) for passing along. That phrasing sure doesn't sound like Gord speak

Char, you look a bit like Andrea Martin!.....and I, john candy, Lol

Re: Twitter

I had that thought but didn't go down that grammar road...
lol
yeah - Posted the tweets in the Fallon thread I think...

I saw AM recently and she's had 'work' done....

Could be Anne and/or the US publicist/promo guy tweeting for Gord..
will let you know when I hear...

Re: Twitter

Yep - it's a group effort - Anne @ EMP, the publicist and promo people TWEET for @Lightfoot365

Let's hear it for vinyl! Nice to see an expanding section of vinyl in the record store I go to.

Re: Twitter

what is GordonLightfoot@lightfootmusic? is that EMP also, or a clone, etc?

i tried following some twitter feeds here and there....at a glance i cant easily tell who is authoring the tweet and who or what they are replying to

what was wrong with "indenting"?

i'm not a big fan of change for the sake of change or new for the sake of new

tell me what i'm missing out on

i'm familiar with game feeds on ESPN website and often will keep an eye for instant updates...if that's like twitter than fine...i guess i dont need instant updates on much celebrity or crime trial or news-wise unless we are being invaded

i love getting a card or postcard in the snail mail...even if the news is old, it will always be more full of impact than any tweet or text...i'm waaay off topic:)

Re: Twitter

So, Sit Down Young Stranger was originally released with just the cover photo and absolutely no printing? Is that right? Even the original "White Album" had "The Beatles" in raised lettering half way down the cover!

Re: Twitter

the only OFFICIAL Twitter is @Lightfoot365 - by EMP and promo people.

Maybe EMP added 365 because Gordonlightfoot was already taken

Latest tweet search: "damn no Montreal dates"

seems confusing and unauthorized. Could be Bidini

Oh, I think the Blank SDYS album still said Gordon Lightfoot on the cover.

Writing or not, it never been a favourite cover of mine
