"Carefree Highway" is a great song. They'll be playing that song on the radio as long as radio still exists. I have about 100 favorite GL songs and this has always been one of them.
Carefree Highway, is a great song and it almost got lost according to Gordon.If you watch the DVD.or VHS. called ,LIVE IN RENO, Gordon tells the story of how he wrote this song and put it in his glovebox of the car one day. Sometime later he came upon this and finished the song and the rest is history. Randy
To enova99:You know,I used to think it was called,"Every Highway" when I was younger also. Imagine finding out that you've called a song by the wrong name for years thinking you were right. I even used to think that "Dirty Deeds" by AC/DC was,"Dirty Knees(unda' yo' chin!)" Borderstone,outta here and Alberta Bound!
