Gord and his band playing an unreleased, unlisted song in Massey Hall on 03/19/1993. If I had to guess the title, it would be "By Hangin' In" but I don't know that for sure, and I do believe it is an early version of "Easy Flo" from his solo album, although this one is more catchy with the whole band.
Here are the lyrics I've deciphered:
I have been patient with you
A blue mornin’
Just has the bends
One of these days when my coyote don’t call
When the wind she don’t blow to the wonder of us all
If it goes that way, you’ll lose the wind
And I’ll get by by hangin’ in’
Your revelations still know that I heard her song
It lights up the dawn
One of these days when I’ve got you on my mind
Would seem just to stand the tide
You could leave the past behind
Far away until the better day is your friend
You’ll get by by hangin’ in
You’ll get by by hangin’ in
(Guitar & Harmonica solo)
With that wind you could find a brand new day
If you try getting’ by by hangin’ in
My whole imagination had her back until now
I’ve had this frown
One of these days when that coyote don’t call
When that rain stays up and that rain don’t fall
Until then, you’ll lose that wind,
And I’ll get by by hangin’ in
Most all pearls of wisdom don’t make you step down
It turns heads around
On days like this when I’ve got you on my mind
Would seem just like the rest, honey you can’t stand the test
So the way into the better day is your friend
When you get by by hangin’ in
I’ll get by by hangin’ in
I’ll get by by hangin’ in
