Can you even begin to imagine To Kill A Mockingbird in color? It would definitely lose something.

"Mockingbird" in color? That'd be like adding color to "Schindler's List"!
Sorry it took 2 years to reply Janice...I've been soooooo busy! :D LOL!!

I hated 'Saturday Night Fever'. Thought it was possibly the ugliest film I have ever seen.

Silverheels, define what you mean by "ugliest". I don't comprehend how a movie can be so. I'm perfectly serious w/ my question by the way because I love the film!

I have tried to block most of the film from my mind but the 'ugliest' part which I still remember is the gang rape in a car. I hated and still hate the film so much, I dont even like Travolta because I associate him with SSF.
Sorry, Borderstone.

Yeah, that's apretty distasteful scene alright but it's unfortunatley true to this day. ...but I guess one can't blame you.
Don't be embarrased,I used to call it SNL for the longest time! :D

Hey Doug, funny you'd mention "Out Of Africa". Last night I watched the movie that lost the Oscar to that snooze-fest! "The Color Purple" w/ Whoopi Goldberg,Danny Glover & Oprah Winfrey was infinity times better than "O.O.A"!
I'll never understand how the one';s who vote on these things can be so narrow-minded. Granted,it's 20 years ago but it's still such an injustice. 10 or 11 nomination and "no" wins?
Why even bother to nominate it at all then? Sheesh!

My all time favorite hated movie was 'Clockwork Orange'. It creeped me out. I'll also vote for 'Soylent Green'. I can't think of any recently that I've hated. If I don't like them, I usually forget about them, or don't finish watching it. I have a short attention span, so stopping partway into a movie to do something else is the norm for me.

"SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!" I loved the late Phil Hartman's impression of that scene on Saturday Night Live! :D LOL!
How about this for a title?
"When Women Had Tails." ??!!
A group of early civilization cavemen chase around after the only female in sight,to "play" Oh and for some reason she has a tail! Reeeeaaaalll Baaaaaaaaaaaad!

Was that a porno movie? (heh heh)
Well, the worst movie I ever saw (not counting the one I saw last night "American Dreamz") was "The Last House on the Left." Totally scary and had me freaked out for a month!!

James Suber, this is very interesting. Seems you share the same bad taste as another Georgia-resident ... Now I know I'm right about you.

Obviously many of you never watched MST3K.
The absolute worse movie that ever wasted Eastman Kodak's film emulsion was one called, "Manos: The Hands of Fate."
I can't believe everyone in this group missed this one.

Re: The worst movie you ever saw
It's a 3-way tie between Waterworld which we saw in London, Groundhog Day even though I normally love Bill Murry, and Blue Velvet which was just plain sick, twisted & weird.
