Gord lives in Toronto, he isn't singing at all now. He has said that he can't hold a note because of the muscles in his abdomen. Which is what his next surgery is going to try to correct. He has said he is looking at 2005.

There are many, many threads which give all the information you could possibly want on Lightfoot's current state of health and future plans. Reading through the list of threads and even doing a search on the forum can reveal a ton of info.

Here's a good start. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001869.html

thank you watchman.

as for those who have never had the privilege..i do mean privilege..of seing GL, he is best seen in smaller less mass produced settings,i.e. the kennedy center or wolftrap near washington. i had the misfortune of deciding to go see stevie ray vaghaun just in time for him to die and i may never get over that. so, run dont walk to the nearest venue as soon as he comes back out.
