well, really good guess cc but no go (hey, Stationmaster, no wonder you started this thread, there's a great feeling of power in THIS 'master' seat, lol)

it's "mr cool coming along the walk of fame" ....APPT, it was...agh, too hard?

i thought we'd try end the thread with GL's swan song (debatable), but that likely won't happen, lol

I got it wrong? Oh, why do I feel blue???

Sure Char. We all know that's how you count in Canada. 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 5...............

And that explains why you are only 39.

There is a story about Bubba the 22lb, 3 ft long lobster in the news today. The perfect picture for "Shellfish"

Perhaps Maybe Mr. Fowles can post the picture?

yes of courseI can
and so could you have done if you follow my simple instructions:-
in this case you first need to find the actual picture. Your bland address of:- http://www.startribune.com/
was not really adequate as you then need to search for "Bubba" and end up at their sign in/register page then have to activate your account by clicking on the link in an
email from this secretive organisatrion
after that hastle you would then have to research and finally get to the desired page (no doubt you can only access this page if you take the trouble to register):- http://www.startribune.com/stories/1451/5268754.html
and lo and behold there is "Bubba" at least a small picture of
"Bubba and a smaller friend"
necessitating clicking on yet another link to obtain the full sized picture:-
right clicking on this picture and selecting "propertiies" will reveal the picture's actual URL address which happens to be:- http://www.startribune.com/stonline/...ster0303.l.jpg
All you do then is add the requisite "UBB" tags after it and bingo the picture of our Bubba
should appear when you post the message

Caption
Bubba, left, a lobster pulled from the waters off Nantucket, Mass., is seen in a tank beside an average-size 1 1/2 pound lobster at Wholey's fish market in Pittsburgh.
Phew
on second thoughts I doubt if you would have had the time and/or patience to get that far!!

No, no, no. It can't be. I have not been online in almost a month. I cannot believe this thread is still alive. Oh my. I think it has taken on a life of its own.

Someone told me it's all happening at the zoo. I do believe it. I do believe it's true.

Ooops. Wrong songwriter.

Poor old Bubbah. At least he lived a long and prosperous life, and managed to stay out of the cooking pot. Dying from old age during a trip to the zoo has to be better than being cooked alive in a pot of boiling water.

Well I just did a quick review of this post and noticed that a lot of the pics are missing. Too bad! I guess that's what happens when you link to URL. I wish there was a way to preserve what we have left!

I wish I had a color printer. I should have found someone to print it for me as soon as we were done. Too bad.

Wow! Hard to believe it's been a year ago that Stationmaster started this thread! ..and that it only ended 4 months ago! I just thought I'd bring it to the front again, since he hasn't been here in sometime.

Hey Stationmaster, wherever you are at the moment, don't be a stranger. Come on back soon!
