I'm getting set for Gord Fest 2002 at my home. I'll be playing 22 songs in a row that I think would make for a nice Gord concert on my home cd player. Then while doing other jobs around the home I'll put the Song Book in and let it play all four discs.

Here's the order for my own personal concert that Gord will be performing for me and my guests in my living room:

1. Wild Strawberries
2. Cotton Jenny
3. Beautiful
4. Tattoo
5. Spanish Moss
6. Early Morning Rain/Did She Mention My Name
7. Summertime Dream
8. Shawdows
9. The Circle Is Small
10. Dream Street Rose
11. Cold On The Shoulder
12. The Pony Man
13. Summer Side of Life
Break...
Set 2
1. (Gord Seated at Piano) Fine As Fine Can Be
2. Old Dans Records
3. Triangle
4. In My Fashion
5. Sundown
6. Carefree Highway
7. Endless Wire
8. Canadian Railroad Trilogy
9. Lazy Morning
10. All The Lovely Ladies
11. Rainbow Trout
12. Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald
Encore
1. Don Quixote (standing ovation)
2. If You Could Read My Mind (standing ovation)
Encore Set 2
The House You Live In
Rainy Day People
Song For A Winters Night (standing ovation)

Ok...so it will be more than 22...Gord will be in a good mood and liking the scene. He'll be accompanied by the Lightfoot Band and their families.

So...will you have your own Gord Fest?

By the way...the back drop for the concert was one great big smiley face .

The reviews are coming in from the 1st annual Gord Fest and they are amazing. The "New York Times" ran a full page expose with color pictures. "Time" magazine went front page and so did "Goldmine" and "Rolling Stone" (eat your heart out Dr. Hook). Gordmania is starting from this small town in Ohio and spreading coast to coast. Where will it go next? Gordon has not sung this well in years. He looks healthier than ever. Stay tuned!

Watchman...North of Cincinnati.

Oh, now we've requested that Gord perform "Waiting For You" in it's entirety. This should be great. I can't wait to hear "Restless" and "Only Love Would Know". Everyone seems to be in agreement here that this album is a classic in every sense...just shows you the "wisdom of man" (sic) to make it a cutout. The music industy is getting a "what for" this evening from our fine Canadian Troubadour. There is a special grace flowing over this evenings festivities...Gordon's family is present and they look pleased.

Hello classicmixdj!
great idea! your setlist is excellent, the only difference I would make would be to include "Bells of the Evening" to help augment "Fine As Fine Can Be". Otherwise, that would be a Gord concert to remember!

James...So "Bells..." it is...that would be great!

Watchman...Hillsboro is about 1.5 hours away from here. Hillsboro is close to Chillicothe which once was the capital of Ohio and home of the Paints (a semi pro baseball team) and the Majestic Theatre. It would be great to see our favorite male singer perform there eh?

Incidently, during Gord's performance of "WFY" he also included " "The Watchmans Gone", "Somewhere USA", "The House You Live In" and "Hey You". Wow, this is turning in to a night to remember.
