Default Music films at Toronto International Film Festival

There are two free films being shown at the TIFF this year:

Neil Young, 8:00 p.m. on September 14, and Monterey Pop, noon on September 15. NOW THESE should be interesting, because they're being held in Dundas Square! Monterey Pop is especially appealing to me - I had a chance to go to the original Monterey Pop Festival in 1967 but I was such a bookworm then that I said I had history homework to do - Summer School (I JUST did NOT have my priorities in order then! LOL) I've seen clips but not the entire film....

Happy Friday, Char! Big day for me, I've got an interview for that job I want...

Re the films in Dundas Square, I could barely believe they'd try to do that, so I kept doublechecking the answers of the woman on the phone. The 8:00 pm Neil Young I can "almost understand" but the Monterey Pop film at NOON? (Noise from people, noise from traffic, light on screen?) - now THIS I've got to see! Re bringing a chair, I remember when I was up there in July, I think at Shoppers Mart I saw one of those transportable chairs with a big Maple Leaf on the back and the seat...hmmm. Well, buying a chair in Toronto would be easier than bringing home from Cally on the plane! Sheryl

Leafs, Argos and Jays chairs are all on clearance throughout the city

Jays just had smallest Skydome crowd ever (and Halladay was even pitching)

enjoy the Neil/Woodstock...loose reefers are always for sale at Yonge/Dundas
