Thanks for this Jesse Joe. Martin is quite talented and he sure knows how to drive that twelve string. It produces a cool sound. Also a very nice innovation with the integration of "The Wreck" with "The Hockey Song." The Stomper would be impressed.

I like to use my twelve string on Stompin' Tom's "Gumboot Clogaroo." I play it with the capo on the third fret in the "A" position. Really gives it a "drive 'er home boys" sound. RJ.

Pretty good sound but of course no match for the {Gibson B-45 12 string} which has added punch.

When I saw him in October, I can only recall Lightfoot using the Gibson on one song. He used another 12 string and, of course, a 6 string for the rest of the tunes. What's the other 12 string that he uses ?

He had 3 guitars that night.

Well RM all I can tell you is when I saw him in concert last, he had 2 Gibson B-45/12 string. Both in Sunburst color ! And his Martin D-18/6 string.

From the interview w/Heather Hiscox on CBC TV for the Postal Stamp, there in his new home he had 28 guitars all in cases... Was beautiful to see !

He sometimes uses this 6 string in the photo below, in concert which I can never remember the name ? It was Cathy Cowett that told me some time ago that Terry also has one of those.
