Hi,
I posted this message today on the ng, but then recalled that there is much more traffic here.

Anyway... in brief (the extended version can be found on the ng)... I didn't realize that Torrington was so close to home & more-or-less ignored the fact that GL was playing there next month. Then, today, for some reason, I decided to Mapquest it & when I saw it's only about 77 minutes away, I decided I want to go to the show. Tickets are still available through the box office. But if anyone here has an extra pair of "choice" seats that you'd be willing to send my way, please let me know. Thanks.

I'm here! way up in Toronto/Gordtown...no Gord concerts around these
parts - things have been quiet around the NG lately..hope you get good
seats and enjoy the show. Seeing Gord two weeks ago I can attest to
the fact that he is very well, having a grand time and still gettin'
it done!

Hi Jim,

If you'd like to drive a little further, I have two choice seats for the Keswick Theatre on Friday April 27, 2007 which is in Glenside, PA just outside of Philly. I only want face value, LOL. You could stay overnight and make a little mini roadtrip out of it.

Thanks for the offer, but that's a bit far for me (maybe in my single days, but not with a wife & 3 pre-schoolers at home). Unless someone here comes through for me today, I guess I'll just "settle" for balcony seats in Torrington.

Well, lucky me! I guess calling the box office is better than trying to buy tix on-line. I should have called right away & could have skipped these posts. So I'm all set & have better seats that I thought I'd get!

Let us know how great it was - I don't think I will be seeing any concerts this year. He isn't even close this time around.

I will certainly post my thoughts after the show. I got row "J" which I'm assuming is 10th from the stage. Not too bad.
