Default Canadian Heritage Moment for Teens

So I performed to a class of high school students as I often do (usually once a year). This year I called it a "Canadian Heritage Moment." I played some Lightfoot tunes and I interjected with explanations of who Lightfoot is and why he is important to Canada. Here is my set list this time round:

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
Triangle
Early Morning Rain
If You Could Read My Mind
In My Fashion
The Canadian Railroad Trilogy

Didn't play as many as last time, and I didn't do much finger picking this time (partly because I had broken my thumb nail earlier in the day).

Do you think that that is a good set list? What should my set list be next year? What songs do you think I should play to introduce high school students to Lightfoot?
I welcome your comments.

Interesting song choices. I didn't do SFAWN simply because it was summer. Of course that song is great to listen to anytime. I did give Alberta Bound some consideration at one point. I don't think anyone recorded the event. We just crammed two classes into the music room, and away we went. It was fun. It's always fun to do. Some kids really enjoy the music. Others, just can't dig Gord's music. One student asked me if I knew any Guns and Roses. Oh well...just trying to keep students educated about our musical greats.

Since I just returned from a week on Georgian Bay and the weather wasn't it's most cooperative I would add:

Rainy Day People
Looking at the Rain

Seriously, consider a couple more oldies or lesser known tunes and discuss the significance of the lyrics. For example:

Mother of a Miner's Child, Sweet Guinnivere (Sp?) or Boss Man
Whispers of the North
Cherokee Bend (Lots of versus to sing)
Too Late for Praying
Circle of Steel
Ode to Big Blue
The House You Live In
Protocol or Patriot's Dream
