10 minutes down the road in Pickering there is a subdivision that has these street names:
Barry Drive
Edmund Drive
Daylight Court
Sundown Crescent
Rainy Day Drive
Cat-tail Drive
Lightfoot Place
Which one would you live on?

Gotta be Lightfoot Place. Where you listen to Lightfoot music....all day. And pack for Lightfoot concerts. And access this website so you can read and write about things Lightfoot. Need I continue?

Oh this one I can't let slip past me. Sorry Florian. Char you know me too well to keep my mouth shut this time, so here goes:

Barry Drive: (I'm assuming Barry Keane) Everybody lives there, but they don't do much.

Edmund Drive: Everybody there is in crisis.

Daylight Drive: Everynight is girls night out cause the guys can never find their wives.

Sundown Cresent: Too many suburban hedonistic rituals on this street..all the ladies look like truckstop waitresses and there's a real high divorce rate.

Rainy Day Drive: Everybody on this street is into any and all "Twelve Step Programs" they can find.

Cattail Drive: All the lawns are over-watered.

Lightfoot Place: Everybody there is too cool!!!!

Rob

Gotta be Lightfoot Place. The one 'place' you can be sure of getting your fill of the Master!

Char,

Not wanting to commute from Pickering to work, I checked out the local Lightfoot flavor for street names and found slim pickin's (with a friend til dawn). The closest we had in town were as follows:

Willow Street and Willow Way (for those who had moved from Cat-tail Drive)

Martin Place (you can trade it off but your troubles are not over)

Maple Street and Maple Road (nice houses for LAMS to check out)

Evergreen Road (smells like beans comin' thru there)

Forest Road (good place to be Home from)

Highland Ave. (where we get our whiskey)

Mountain Ave. and Marian Lane (all is well)

Huron Drive (rolls)

Lake Road (but not a "Great" one)

But I'd prefer a nice castle on Yarmouth Road, as long as I keep up the payments on my fire insurance.

I would gladly live at any of the addresses above, if, of course, they are located in Biscuit City.

My computer has been down for a week so I am catching up on the posts here and elsewhere. I am going to try to find out more about this subdivision - who the builder is and why he chose these street names. I have wondered about them for many years now since the homes were built and now I have the impetus to do so!

Obviously that builder is a Lightfoot fan. Don't see how Barry Drive coincides with Lightfoot, though.

Um... look above... Gord's drummer is Barry Keane and his manager is Barry Harvey...
