This song's bugging me! Does anyone know who Wildflower was or what happened to her? I know it was written by a cop for his girlfriend but that's all I can find, don't know if it's based on a true story or if some tragedy befell her. "She's faced the hardest times you can imagine..."

Hi S.S.! ell,1st off I've heard this song for nearly 3 decades now and i never get tired of it. I used to think it was Blood,Sweat and Tears' song. Easy mistake. :D
